Pre-campaign Measures of Mobile and Internet Advertising!!

Launching a Mobile Advertising or internet advertising campaign requires some measures and considerations. The advertiser has to make sure that he is advertising his product only after studying thoroughly about the brand, its features/benefits. In today’s blog, let us get familiarized with some pre-campaign measures of advertising through mobile or internet media.

Framing of the advertising message – The most important measure of launching a mobile or Internet Advertising campaign is framing the ad message of the brand i.e. what to be communicated to customers (about the brand). Whether it is a deal, offer or simply a general campaign to create awareness or buzz amongst customers. For deals and offers, the brand message would be totally different from what and how advertiser communicates through other campaigns. Deals or offers do not last the whole year round. So, the brand message for festive advertising cannot be used during other promotion campaigns launched during the year. Besides, it is also notable that the theme or essence of one festival varies from another. So, advertiser should shrewdly present the brand message keeping track of the festive spirit and essence amongst customers.

Deciding the duration of the campaign- How long the campaign will run is yet another concern for the Advertiser. If the campaign is targeting maximum sale of the product, the advertiser can run it for a longer time span. The advertiser should pre-evaluate his budget for the overall campaign before it is launched.

Research on TG- A thorough knowledge about the target group is yet another important measure for an advertiser. A study on buying behavior of customers is a must for an advertiser. For example, if the advertiser is targeting a particular age group for the campaign, he should beforehand have an idea about the most convenient time to communicate with the TG. All in all, a research is a must for every mobile advertising or internet advertising campaign.
